Dysport injections

Soften forehead lines, crow’s feet, and frown lines with Dysport injections at Prime Wellness and Longevity. Every treatment is physician-led and built around your goals, so you get an individualized plan and results that look smooth, refreshed, and natural, not the one-size-fits-all approach you’ll find at a typical med spa.

About

What is Dysport?

Dysport is an injectable neuromodulator used to relax the small facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, like forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, and crow’s feet around the eyes. It works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that tell those muscles to contract, which softens the look of lines without affecting the rest of your expression.

At Prime Wellness, Dysport treatments are performed under the direction of Dr. Gregory Patterson, board certified in emergency medicine, with Andrea Caskey, RN, administering care. That physician-led model is what sets Prime Wellness apart from a typical med spa: every plan is built around your specific anatomy and goals, not a standard protocol. Dysport is offered on its own or folded into a broader regenerative aesthetics plan for patients across Georgetown and Austin, TX, and it’s often layered alongside treatments like Sculptra or Morpheus8 for a fuller rejuvenation strategy, something a single-treatment provider can’t offer. Your provider will help determine which combination suits your skin and goals.

Why patients choose Dysport for wrinkles

01

Softer, More Natural-Looking Results

Dysport tends to diffuse slightly more than some other neuromodulators, which can create a smoother, more natural finish, especially across broader areas like the forehead. Your provider’s goal is always a refreshed look, never an overdone one.

02

Fast-Acting

Many patients begin to notice results within a few days of treatment, sooner than the typical timeline for collagen-stimulating treatments.

03

Individualized, Physician-Led Treatment Plans

Your plan is built and overseen by a physician, with injection sites mapped to your facial anatomy and expression patterns, so it’s designed around how your face actually moves, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

More Information

How Dysport treatments work

A Dysport session typically takes about 10 to 20 minutes. Your provider will discuss your goals, identify the areas you’d like to treat, most often the forehead, the lines between the brows, or the crow’s feet, and administer a series of small injections into the targeted muscles. Because your plan is physician-led, treatment can be adjusted in the moment based on your anatomy rather than following a fixed template.

There’s little to no downtime after treatment. Some patients notice mild redness or small bumps at the injection sites, which usually resolve within a few hours. Results generally begin appearing within two to five days and continue to develop over the following couple of weeks as the treated muscles relax.

Why Prime Wellness

Why choose Prime Wellness for Dysport

At Prime Wellness, every injection is delivered under physician oversight, with an individualized plan mapped to your own facial anatomy rather than a generic protocol. Because our providers oversee your full aesthetics plan, your treatment can be coordinated with other services when it makes sense for your goals, a level of oversight and coordination that sets us apart from a typical med spa.

Complementary services

Pairing Dysport with other treatments

Dysport is a beneficial treatment on its own, but it can also be part of a broader aesthetics plan depending on your skin goals.

  • Combining Dysport with Morpheus8 microneedling can help address both dynamic wrinkles and overall skin texture in the same treatment plan.
  • Sculptra, part of our regenerative aesthetics offerings, builds collagen over time and can complement the more immediate line-softening effect of Dysport.

Frequently asked questions

Dysport is most commonly used to treat dynamic wrinkles, the lines that form from repeated facial movement, such as forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, and crow’s feet around the eyes.

Your treatment is administered by Andrea Caskey, RN, under the direction of Dr. Gregory Patterson, board certified in emergency medicine, so you’re working with a team that understands the full picture of your health, not just the injection itself. Every consultation includes time to walk through your goals and ask questions, and your provider stays available for follow-up if you want any adjustments before your next session.

Dysport and Botox are both neuromodulators that work in a similar way, relaxing the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. The main differences are in formulation and spread: Dysport tends to diffuse slightly more, which some providers prefer for larger areas like the forehead, and it may begin working a bit faster for some patients. Your provider can help you decide which is the better fit for your goals.

Results typically last around three to four months, though this varies by individual and by treatment area. Many patients schedule follow-up appointments on that timeline to maintain results.

You’ll generally be advised to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, stay upright for a few hours after treatment, and hold off on strenuous exercise for the rest of the day. Your provider will go over specific aftercare instructions before you leave.

Cost depends on the number of units used, which varies by treatment area and your individual goals. Your provider will go over a personalized quote during your consultation.
